Join our tour guide in your hotel in Guatemala City or at La Antigua Guatemala. We will travel to Santo Domingo Xenacoj (1 hour away from the City) and meet with the weavers. Weaving is an ancestral art inherited from mother to daughter in Maya communities of Guatemala. The Council of weavers will be sharing with visitors the importance of the preservation of textiles and will teach you in a workshop how to use the back strap loom.  Traditional lunch included. 6 hours tour. Minimum 2 visitors.
